Map Catalogue - listing by author, alphabetically

Each map is listed alphabetically by author: the first column is the heading / title as given in The Tourist Maps of Devon by Kit Batten. This can be either the original publisher or an artist / engraver associated with the map or plan. For entries with two ordinal numbers, eg Allday 1 and Allday 2, there are two distinct maps. For entries with decimal numbers, e.g.Banfield 6.1 to 6.3, there are variations (states) of the same map. For entries with small case letters of the alphabet, e.g. Bacon 1a to 1e, there are several separate maps in one volume (in this case an atlas). The area shown is highlighted (bold) in the second column.

It is intended to link each entry with its corresponding description. This will be shown by the usual blue script, denoting link is established.
